Global Television Network (more commonly called Global, or occasionally Global TV) is an English language privately owned television network in Canada, owned by Calgary-based Shaw Communications, as part of its Shaw Media division. It is currently Canada's second most-watched broadcast television network,^{[citation needed]} and has 12 owned-and-operated stations throughout the country.
